September 11th was a tragic event, and our town lost twelve of its members on that day. The Newcomers club of Westfield recently added some color to the September 11th memorial last weekend and weeded and cleaned the beds around the memorial. Make sure that you click on the slideshow below to see all of their great effort.
Since 1944, the Westfield Newcomers Club has served as a vehicle for new residents to get to know one another and feel at home in their new town. A non-profit volunteer organization for women and their families, the club also welcomes those who have had a recent lifestyle change, such as marriage, adoption, birth of a child, etc. - you don't have to be new in town to join Newcomers!
They also mentioned that they would like to thank Williams Nursery, who donated all the flowers, and Sorrento's Pizza, who generously donated lunch.
